Join Our Team at Fausto: Part-Time Line Cook Opportunity Fausto, a cherished neighborhood restaurant and wine destination on Flatbush Avenue in Park Slope, Brooklyn, is seeking a passionate and dedicated part-time Pasta Cook. Our market-driven menu features elevated yet approachable dishes with a focus on local and seasonal ingredients. About Us: At Fausto, we are committed to providing an exceptional dining experience that blends sophistication with community values. Our kitchen is a collaborative environment where creativity and teamwork are paramount. About the Role: As a Pasta Cook, you will be responsible for prepping mise en place and cooking pasta for one of our two pasta stations. This part-time position requires availability on Monday and Tuesday evenings. Ideal Candidate: Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a similar role, preferably in casual or fine dining environments. Multitasking Skills: Ability to thrive in high-pressure situations with ease and efficiency. Attitude: Positive, enthusiastic, and team-oriented. Responsibilities and Duties: Station Management: Perform opening and closing duties, including setting up and closing down your station according to our standards. Preparation: Prep items for daily service and the weekly prep schedule. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for over 6 hours. Quality Assurance: Ensure the highest level of quality in all menu items. Team Support: Carry out additional tasks as directed by management to support overall kitchen operations.
